SeaCart 26 One Design Sails

New one design, folding version of the 30 now available. The SeaCart 26 one design, little brother to Oceanlake Marine’s SeaCart 30, has had its first test sail.

Once again designed by Marc Lombard, but this time built by Composite Marine International in Thailand, the 26 aims to be a day racer suitable for both inshore and coastal racing. Calle Hennix’s Swedish company Oceanlake Marine are intending on the new tri becoming a one design class.

The SeaCart 26 features the latest thinking in trimaran design from wave-piercing bows, spray rails, retractable curved foils and an ergonomic cockpit. Construction is in epoxy/E-glass with carbon reinforcement, making the hulls light and strong, enabling the SeaCart 26 to fly two hulls like her larger sybling…
